Reconditioning means enabling feasibility

BeSolar: Reconditioning Solar Energy for a Sustainable Future

BeSolar is the flagship activity of BeWise Energy, dedicated to the implementation of second-life solar farms in emerging countries.

We recently launched the construction of our first solar farms in the village of Saioua, Ivory Coast, offering sustainable energy solutions within a village with a population of 120,000 inhabitants.

Implementation of Refurbished Solar Farms

The BeSolar project consists of rehabilitating and reconditioning existing solar farms.

We dismantle solar farms aged 5 to 15 years in Europe and the United States, then recondition them with new consumables before installing them in developing countries.

This innovative approach promotes solar energy while reducing carbon emissions.

Technology and Innovation

We have developed advanced engineering and a fully digitalized monitoring operating model via a mobile application and a WebApp.

This technology allows complete optimization of the process, from installation to maintenance of solar farms.

Our application also facilitates the management and maintenance of installations, thus guaranteeing optimal performance.

Business Model and Benefits of Refurbished Solar Farms

The interest in reconditioned solar farms is based on three main pillars:

1. No Land: We eliminate the cost of land thanks to an income model shared with partner municipalities. This enables cost-effective implementation of solar farms in developing regions.

2. No Prohibitive CAPEX: By industrializing the implementation of solar farms, we reduce capital expenditure (CAPEX) significantly, thereby dividing the major cost by ten while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

3. No Taxes as on New and 35% IRR: By removing excessive taxes on second-hand equipment and guaranteeing an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 35%, we ensure attractive profitability for investors while by promoting the deployment of sustainable solar solutions.

Securing and Profitability of Investments

BeSolar offers extremely attractive IRRs, thus securing investment in photovoltaic solar power in developing countries.

Our ambition is to power national electricity networks sustainably and cost-effectively.

Commitment for the Long Term

As part of our maintenance policy, BeSolar plans to renew 30% of its fleet each year over the next five years.

This initiative aims to use third-life production elements to create autonomous mini solar farms.

These installations will provide energy to social structures such as health centers, schools, orphanages, and sports facilities, thus providing continuous and free electricity.

BeSolar is committed to transforming the energy landscape of developing countries by intelligently reusing existing resources to create a greener, more sustainable future.
